Reused pond form, Leslie and i dug in last night. Now i need to get filter etc. and landscape w/ plants and rocks. It can be seen from kitchen window and back entry steps. My gold fish will love it, frogs too. Plan to use rain water to keep it filled.
Picture
Garden tool shed made from old jelly cupboard. Added roof and built up base which was decaying. Still needs shingles and trim. Will relocate to side yard near flower beds.

Picture
Art rakes, a recent find. All 3 are the same but have been worked into different shapes from use. Pleasing..
Picture
The flat porch pillars iust scored from trash are now trim. Sweet, fresh paint may want to distress a bit.

Double hung reclaimed farm windows. Jean is teaching me so much. This will be installed in kitchen. An awesome view, very excited. Not this weekend but the following.

Building berm in front to keep back water drainage. It will eventually be planted. Throwing sod , dirt and other yard waste to build mound. My motto, use what you have.
Picture
Foundation plantings in front. Many from apartment, before that farm transplant divided. Mostly hostas and sedum. And annual cabbage, so pretty. Also cut back huge shrub into something more defined.
Picture
Drive way side, shady.
Picture
Happy to grow beautiful plants.
Picture
Rose was here, blooming.
Picture
Drive way back entry, cement slab one day to support out door room. Have to have air conditioner removed and then groove on porch.
Picture
East side garden, one day i'd like to have a small enclosed screened porch off living room to over look this side.
Picture
Arbor i built from cattle fence. Several vines beginning to climb. Clematis, bittersweet and long dangling purple tree. I planted trees, 5 and 5 tiny fir trees i dug from up north. All are growing. Also an entire row of rose os sharon across the back ok property, almost 1/2 acre. Planted vegetable garden in too much shade, will move out further this fall for next year. Raspberries transplanted from tangled corner chalk full of poison ivy doing well in garden. I'd like to put chickens (3) in that back corner to clear out massive amounts of growth, would need to fence and build coop. We'll see.

Another sliding door , this one to work room off studio. I love this plank door, it has textured paint. I need to add 2 end boards to it making it a bit wider. I love my tools that allow me that ability. These slider hardware are by the way, are for closet doors. Bought 1 new,1 from habitat.

Drove all the way twice to Kalamazoo towing my trailer. I was expecting to buy beautiful funky doors, 3. One trip they were closed . The other i realized i couldn't afford their prices. OMG, now i know how valuable my collection is. Came home with this one piece i fell in love with.
Picture
Wood frame screens and doors given to me by client if i took them away out of attic. I will use to build out door room behind house on cement pad. Remember that outdoor shower i mentioned?
Picture

Window wall, thank you Jean, who designed it and taught me how to hang a door from scratch and frame in and trim windows above. Theses are from a clients farm house after they replace w/ efficient ones.
Picture
Day light photo, i love this wall to my bedroom. It has been trimmed, caulked and painted , thank you Chelsea.
Picture
Wall art in the works in my bedroom. A narrow shelf will go under the 2 arched windows. And yes, i do spend reading time in this chair before bed and often when i have time in the morning. The rest of the house is usually gobbed up with tools and projects.

Love it, hollow core on rail, slides closed. I will patch door knob holes, and kicked in hole on other side. No one will suspect this was a damaged door. Needs another coat of paint. May hang art on it or ... Lots of ideas. Working on trim
Hollow core doors are great , lots out there. I am in the process of building a washer/ dryer cupboard out of them. I've pre painted 3, ready to begin.
Oh, meant to mention , think this style door ( sliding) will be safer then traditional on narrow, steep, twisty stairwell. Collecting reclaimed cooper plumbing pipe to make stair railing. Jean / Peter replumbed house, this will be my opportunity to practice soldering.

Side door repair, this is door catch. I cut ot out and replaced it. Tightened up door hinges with thicker screws. Door works now , it's painted.
Picture
After i paint it trim, it will be lovely.
Picture
Side door i repaired and painted. I believe this door was altered from a 5 panel door. I have worked with many doors and it looks as if 3 panels were cut out and glass added a long time ago. Glass is ancient, great wavy surface.
