Clothes line in roomy bathroom. I enjoyed hanging clothes last summer, then i got an idea. I hinged a board with hooks ( eye hook cut open to string clothes line quickly) along it's side. Folds flat against top of washer/ dryer cupboard when not in use. Then another trim board with altered eye hooks on wall above shower stall. Easy to string clothes line when needed. It's hidden out of site when not being used. Made from stuff i had . Worked out very well.
Beautiful new cement mixer. I put it together in the studio and yes it fit through the front door. It has wheels and handle to cart it around. It says it's a 3 1/2 cubic foot mixer but half of that quantity works best. I got it to simplify mixing a LOT of cement for 610 foundation restoration. It's great.
Egress through foundation wall to pass dirt out and cement in. Latest project to close up basement. I've reset stone around hatch frame and almost done with hatch door. Filled many cracks the sun shown through from the outside using cement bag, used like a cake icing bag. Works great with the correct consistency cement. More to tuck and point outside but that will wait til spring as i focus on stone in the basement / crawl space being excavated. The interior walls in crawl area are in rough shape. Repacking and replacing stone using cement. I like working with both but stone is heavy and can't work for to many hours at a time. The stone is dry stacked on inside , very little mortar was used. Looking for more stone , any stone donations will be happily employed.
